Americas-Africa Business Forum: New Commercial Partnerships for Economic Growth

The “Americas-Africa Business Forum: New Commercial Partnerships for Economic Growth” will take place on April 18, 2013 in Washington, DC. This event is presented by Ambassador Ramdin, the Assistant Secretary of the Organization of American States (OAS), and Dr. Neil Parsan, the Ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago to the U.S., Mexico and the OAS in collaboration with The Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) and the Africa Society of the National Summit on Africa.

This forum seeks to foster new business relationships and cooperative ventures to tap the potential for greater trade and investment between Africa and the Americas, especially in the energy, agribusiness and mining sectors. Participants will include several Heads of State, Finance Ministers and other Ministers from Africa and the Americas, as well as private sector CEOs.
